THE GOLDEN AGE OF LIGHT MUSIC

“The world's most comprehensive collection of Light Music on CD”

Complete Catalogue - June 2008

This exciting project by Guild Music of Switzerland is making available at modest cost well over a thousand light music recordings from the 1920s to the 1950s, most of which have never appeared on CD before.

There are currently 47 CDs in the series with more in preparation. All the recordings have been restored to very high standards using CEDAR and other processes and each CD comes with a comprehensive booklet featuring attractive art-work and definitive notes written by one of the world's leading light music experts, David Ades. There is no duplication of tracks within the series.

Customers in the UK may wish to consider purchasing from Castle Classics who offer a post free service and are based in Scotland, not that far from where the restoration work is carried out.

Some retailers are charging far more than the recommended retail price for these CDs - in Great Britain (and also if you buy direct from Guild) the correct price is approximately £8
